Discover how life on earth moved from water onto land 360-345 million years ago through ground-breaking discoveries made in Scotland in Fossil Hunters at Montrose Museum from 21 January – 1 April 2017.
In Fossil Hunters, meet the people who uncovered these remarkable finds, discover the scientific techniques used to extract and identify them, and glimpse what life was like before the dinosaurs.
Fossil Hunters is a National Museums Scotland touring exhibition. Supported by the Natural Environment Research Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
There will be a couple of talks from visiting National Museums Scotland experts - look out for these appearing on our page when tickets will be released!
