Castle Club (The)
When you want some heart-warming homemade cooking you may want to visit a well-established family run restaurant, using only the best in local produce. The family run venue was established in 1987 in a partnership between Fred and Linda McBride and two sons Andy, head chef and Mark, the bar manager.
Catering for families with children, who are welcome subject to licensing laws, couples of all ages who may be celebrating or simply enjoying a night out.
Menus vary from plain Scottish fare to dishes with a Continental or Asian Twist. All food is cooked on the premises and made with fresh local ingredients. The wine list will satisfy most tastes at reasonable prices, sold by the glass or the bottle.
