Angus Heritage Week & Doors Open Days 2017
Angus Heritage Week:
Discover more about the rich, built and cultural heritage of Angus during this year’s Angus Heritage Week, 1 to 10 September.
Angus Heritage Week is packed with activities and events which highlight the people, places and traditions of the local area.
Angus is home to many museums, galleries, historic sites and buildings. So, whether your interest is in ancient civilisations, medieval battles or historic houses, Angus has a rich story to tell.
Doors Open Days, which is co-ordinated nationally by the Scottish Civic Trust, takes place during Angus Heritage Week over the weekend of 2 and 3 September.
Doors Open Days allows you to visit a number of historic, contemporary and unusual buildings, free of charge. Please note some venues must be booked in advance.
Doors Open Days takes place throughout Scotland and is part of European Heritage Days. For more information, please visit www.doorsopendays.org.uk.
